Info Session for "History of Science in Europe" Short-Term Study Abroad Program

Learn about the opportunity to travel to Budapest, Vienna, and Amsterdam for more than two weeks in summer 2018 as part of this study abroad program on the history of science and technology in Europe! Instructors Elizabeth Holden (Physics) and Adam Stanley (History) will discuss sites and topics to be covered during the program--including a museum of agricultural history and technology, the engineering of the bridges over the Danube River, locations related to the life of Sigmund Freud, the chance to use replicas of Galileo's telescopes to view the night sky, and much more. You will also learn about program logistics and how to apply if you are interested in participating! The meeting will take place in the Wisconsin Room of the Markee Pioneer Student Center from 8:00-9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017. The program is open to students from all majors and any class standing.
