NOTICE 07.12.18: Two-factor to begin for the Instructor role in PASS on July 23

As part of a larger initiative to increase security of campus data, two-factor authentication will be implemented for the Instructor role in PASS beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Jul. 23.

NOTE: This implementation does not require an outage. However, if you are logged into PASS when the implementation is completed, you will be prompted to verify your identity using your chosen method in Duo.

If you have Instructor access in PASS and have not already done so, you will need to enroll with Duo, the product UW-Platteville uses for two-factor authentication prior to July 23. Login at www.uwplatt.edu/go/duo and follow the online instructions.

NOTICE 07.13.18: Extended outage scheduled for PASS, databases on July 27

Enterprise Systems (PASS, BI, databases) are scheduled to be down for an extended outage from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Jul. 27 as staff apply quarterly security updates.  Please plan accordingly. NOTE: Due to a suspension of editing and publishing rights during the website transition, this page cannot be updated until August 13.  In the event of major changes to this outage plan, updates will be posted on the ITS Knowledge Base News, the ITS Help Desk Facebook page, and/or via email as appropriate.
