Technology is used in most areas of our learning and teaching as well throughout the administration of our University. Information Technology Services (ITS) provides a backbone of support for current operations and works with the campus to identify future IT services and resources to meet the technology needs of our community.
In 2014, Information Technology Services, with the help of consultant firm Plante Moran, engaged members of the campus in developing a cohesive IT strategic plan. In 2016 we will continue to focus on the following strategic initiatives:
Deliver a Student-Centered IT Experience
Nurture An Innovative Learning Community
Elicit And Apply Data Insights
Provide a Resilient and Secure Infrastructure
Pursue Pragmatic Solutions
Identifying necessary future IT services and effectively prioritizing and allocating ITS resources is essential to accelerate growth and development for our students and our community. We are working to standardize, simplify and secure the university IT experience with solutions based on service excellence. The work in developing our IT Prioritization process has helped the campus and ITS prioritize our needs.
