Alert 02.25.17: Phishing attempt claims mailbox exceeds limit
The ITS Help Desk has received numerous reports of a phishing message claiming your mailbox "exceeds the limit of use-age[sic] and you will not be able to send emails". You are then instructed to "CLICK HERE to reset and Activate" your account. The message appears to come from the UW-Platteville account of Susan L. Meier.
If you receive such an email from "Susan L. Meier", please DELETE immediately.
If you receive such an email from someone else, please REPORT it to the ITS Help Desk at 608.342.1400 or email@example.com.
If you clicked the link and logged in with your campus username and password, CHANGE YOUR CAMPUS PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY and contact the ITS Help Desk at 608.342.1400 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Welcome to office 365
Here you have access to your campus e-mail, calendar, contacts, and tasks as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Online, Skype for Business Online (formerly Lync), and OneDrive (storage - like your J-drive). To access your Office 365 account, click the orange E-mail Login button at the right.
Set the correct time zone: (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)

Your Official UW-Platteville E-mail Account
UW-Platteville utilizes Microsoft Office 365 for its e-mail and calendaring needs. Your uwplatt.edu Office 365 account is your official account at UW-Platteville. All e-mail and calendar invitations sent from university departments and personnel will go to this official account. If you choose to forward your Office 365 account to another provider, add the domain uwplatt.edu to that provider's trusted list to ensure you receive all important university communications.
