Website Transition Project has 132 sections completed; sets final goal of April 18, 2014

February 14, 2014

The website transition project now has 132 sections completed and another 62 nearing completion or in progress. The committee has set April 18 as the  day where the university will change www3 back to www and just have the new content visible. All the content from the former site would still be saved but not accessible to the public (except for the personal pages, those with the tilde). We believe this is a very doable goal to have the rest of the 62 sections completed. April 18 is Good Friday, so web traffic will be minimal that day. It is also the one-year anniversary of launching the new home and hub pages. To complete nearly 200 content sections in a year's time is quite an achievement, thanks to all of hard work of many, many people.
