We Need You! Annual Hardware Audit Scheduled for October

ITS will begin its annual hardware asset audit on Monday, Oct. 2 using the successful self-report approach implemented in 2016. Each staff and faculty member will be asked to submit the asset tag number for any computer in their personal care, not including classrooms and labs. Read more...

Innovations in Teaching with Technology Award

Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Teaching and Technology Center (TTC) are pleased to announce the recipient of the first Innovations in Teaching with Technology Award. Lynnette Dornak’s (Assistant Professor, Geography), project entitled Augmented Reality (AR) Sandbox for 3D conceptualization of geographic concepts, had not only a high level of innovation, but also the greatest potential to affect student learning. PASS upgrade project officially underway

The Pioneer Administrative Software System, a.k.a PASS, will be upgraded to the new version, Campus Solutions 9.2 by Fall 2017. The project, which officially kicked off in April after nearly a year of preliminary planning, collaboration, and upgrade work, will result in additional functionality and increased security for UW-Platteville students, faculty, and staff. University Police: Campus phone moves may affect 911 services

In an email on May 1, University Police alerted faculty and staff to an issue potentially affecting 9-1-1 services on campus: the physical movement of office telephones. This issue is directly related to the changing location of the phones themselves versus the actual telephone connections to our local community dispatch centers. Read more...
