Project Updates

The Ellucian Project with the Office of Prospective Students is on schedule to go live in June.  This software improves OPS’s ability to track, recruit, and communicate with prospective students.

Business Intelligence, which will replace Interactive Reporting, is on schedule to go live in June also.  Training will be scheduled soon.

The majority of partners in the Platteville Community Area Network (PCAN) (Discover IT, March 2013) are now connected to this community network. Work continues.

The purchase of College Scheduler, software that will enhance the student registration and advising process, has been approved.  This collaboration between OIT, ACES, and the Registrar’s Office begins this summer with implementation expected in time for the spring/winterim registration period this fall.

The Technology Support Services Project is on schedule for Phase I.  Teams are developing a new support model as well as policy and process standards, naming conventions, an improved inventory management system, and plans for marketing and assessing services.
