Help Desk phone coverage has been extended to span all hours the Markee is open.  When the Help Desk is closed, lab consultants will answer incoming calls and assist the caller, if possible, or create a Footprints issue.

Mon-Fri                8:00AM to 6:00PM            Help Desk open

Mon-Fri                6:00PM to 11:00PM          Calls route to lab consultants (regular building hours)

Saturday             10:00AM to 10:00PM         Calls route to lab consultants (regular building hours)

Sunday                11:00AM to 11:00PM         Calls route to lab consultants (regular building hours)

Workstations in Hempel Collaboratory inside the Bears Den were updated in Fall 2012 to include:

  • All software on the Bears Den computers
  • Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium
  • TechSmith Snagit & Camtasia (screen capture software)

Logitech stereo headsets with mics are now available for checkout from the lab consultant in the Bears Den.  Checkout is open to current students, staff, and faculty with valid campus ID and lasts up to eight hours.  Ten units are available (enough for each workstation in Hempel); each is cleaned upon return.
