You Are Welcome Here

UW-Platteville's #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign was inspired by Temple University’s #YouAreWelcomeHere video. The #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign is a nationwide initiative of U.S. higher education institutions offering a message of welcome to international students around the world. It is a campaign designed to affirm our shared commitment to provide a diverse, supportive, and safe environment to all students.

UW-Platteville supports and encourages the diversity and the unique cultural perspectives that international students bring to our campus. Through participation in this #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign and the creation of the video and door decal described below, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville hopes not only to express a message of welcome to international students on campus, but to affirm the value UW-Platteville places on helping students become knowledgeable citizens in a diverse global community.

Cultivating an inclusive campus community is a journey and requires the continued efforts of all of us.
