WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Flipped classrooms. Hybrid courses. Web-enhanced learning. These instructional practices can all be enhanced with the use of video. Find out how to get started creating short instructional videos and the media tools available at UW-Platteville.

Who Should Attend

Instructors considering an increased use of video in their courses. Individuals who have a need to create an instructional video and want more information about the process.

Outcomes

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Cite at least three best practices for creating instructional video.
  2. List the technology tools available and describe how they are used  in the video creation process.
  3. Identify the campus technology departments that support video and state the process for contacting them.
  4. Explain the general process of adding captions to video
