NEW EMPLOYEE BENEFIT SESSIONS
Welcome to UW-Platteville!
Your benefits package is an important part of your total compensation.
As a new employee who is eligible for benefits, you have the opportunity to enroll in benefit plans within 30 days of start date.
Enrollment in benefit plans is accomplished in one of two ways:
• eBenefits — in which most plans are elected via an online self-service process. To qualify, you should have received notification from your benefits office that you are eligible for online enrollment. Some benefit plans may still require submission of a paper enrollment form.
• Paper-only — which requires that all plans be elected by the submission of paper forms.
The first 30 minutes of our Benefit Session introduces you to Necessary and Important Technical Information (NITI Gritty) from our Information Technology Services Department. Seating is limited; register below.
Please note: You may be eligible to receive up to a $2,000 Opt-Out Incentive from the UW if you Opt-Out (waive coverage) of State Group Health Insurance coverage. The maximum annual Opt-Out Incentive is $2,000 for single or family coverage.
