To Be Completed:
The first phase of the addition and renovation was enumerated by the State of Wisconsin in 2007-09.
Students approved the project and will pay fees each semester to support the addition and renovation. Groundbreaking and construction began in May 2009 and is expected to be completed in late summer 2010.
Phase 1 will include:
Phase 2 will complete the addition and renovation of the Pioneer Activity Center. The conceptual design for this phase, focusing on an aquatic center and auxiliary gym, was completed with the planning for Phase 1.
The campus has requested approval from the state as part of the 2009-11 capital budget. The estimated cost is $9.5-10.5 million
The earliest time construction will begin is in summer 2010, completion in fall 2011. The timing for construction of Phase 2 is dependent on fundraising. With $5 to $5.5 million in gifts needed, construction can only begin when these funds have been raised.
