Greenhouse Complex

Built in 2002, the Greenhouse Complex differs drastically from the former 2,800-square-foot greenhouse that was located at the site that is now the Markee Pioneer Student Center. The 6,500-square-foot facility utilizes state-of-the-art technology to house plants for the ornamental horticulture program, biology department, and the soil and crop science program. The Greenhouse also includes a classroom, head house, and five growing spaces: propagation, hydroponics, bedding and cut flowers, crops/soil science, and biology tropical and subtropical.
