(Past) Nathan Greve Senior Vocal Recital

Nathan is a senior Choral and General Music Education major from Donahue, IA and graduate of North Scott High School. He is looks to teach middle and high school choirs as well as develop secondary general music education classes to bolster the skills and academic musical vocabulary of students that are not interested in performing ensembles. During his stay at UW-Platteville, he has participated in Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Bob Demaree as well as serving as a student conductor for the Concert Choir under the guidance of Stephanie Klockow and intern for Dubuque Children’s Chorale under the guidance of Karmella Sellers. In high school he studied voice under Kathy Dawson. During his time at UW-Platteville, he has studied voice under Dr. Susan Savage Day and piano under Lannette Calhoun, Rob Shepherd and Dr. Kaju Lee. Nathan filled the role of Adolfo Pirelli in Platteville’s production of Sweeney Todd directed by Dr. Ann Farrelly. Nathan looks forward to a career of encouraging educated opinions and teaching music with roots in ethnomusicology.
