Engineering Seminar Series:

ACCESSIBLE PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES IN TRANSPORTATION AND CONSTRUCTION

Presented by: Anne Holzem, P.E., PTOE, Project Manager, MSA Professional Services

Transportation engineers design for the mobility of people in all modes of transport—vehicles, transit, bicycling, and walking. Designing pedestrian facilities adds an additional challenge to ensure that the facility is accessible to all pedestrians. This seminar will present the challenges of designing accessible pedestrian facilities that follow ADA and PROWAG guidelines, and how to provide safe passage for all pedestrians through or diverted from construction zones.

This event is free and open to the public.  Attendees are eligible for one profession development hour (PDH).
