The EMS Engineering Seminar Series ends on Tuesday, Dec. 1 with Protection of Buildings from the Construction of Milwaukee’s ‘Deep Tunnel’ by Strass-Maguire and Associates President Lavern Nall. The construction and operation of the “Deep Tunnel” caused buildings in many Milwaukee neighborhoods to settle with resulting damages. This seminar will cover: preconstruction inspections, evaluation of buildings susceptible to damage, monitoring of settlement, decay of wood piles, identification of building damages caused by tunnel construction, and examples of repairs or remedies implemented.

Attendees are eligible for one professional development hour.
