The EMS Engineering Seminar Series' third event is on Tuesday, Nov. 10 with UW-Platteville alumna Lauren Ray, along with Marc Ruden, both of IIW, P.C., presenting Bee Branch Pumping Station: Solution to Aid the City of Dubuque’s Flooding Issues. Engineers and architects come together to create a solution to further aid the flooding issues for the City of Dubuque. During this presentation, you’ll get a closer look at what went into the planning and design of the Bee Branch Pumping Station project.

Attendees are eligible for one professional development hour. 

Series description: The University of Wisconsin-Platteville College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science is bringing real-world engineering projects to students, faculty, and the public through the fall 2020 EMS Engineering Seminar Series. Free and open to the public, the series will highlight four engineering projects and insight from top experts in the field. All seminars will be offered virtually.
