Where: UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County campus
Begins: Oct. 10, 2020 at 7:30 am

Our first year of hosting the Nature-Based Early Learning Forum was a great success ...
... as chronicled in the attached Baraboo News Republic article.

"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in." - Rachel Carson

The seminar is worth 0.6 CEUs or six hours of continuing education training in Early Childhood Education.

Registration is $69. Cost includes all materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and beverages.

About the Forum

The forum will begin inside with introductions, logistics, and daily agenda. From there we will go to the gathering area for a morning greeting and begin our journey into the natural world. All participants will experience three sessions. The day will be an exercise in learning to be outside so that we can bring the wonder and joy of the natural world to the children and families we serve. Please dress and prepare for the weather.
