(Past) Pioneer Life

Students entering grades 3–5 | Monday–Friday | Students will travel back in time to the 1800s and discover what life was like for pioneers in the Midwest such as Laura Ingalls Wilder, who was born right here in Wisconsin! Students will take part in activities mentioned by Laura in her diary entries such as pressing flowers, simple cooking, making lanterns, and more. Participants are required to have reliable internet access and a computer/tablet/smart phone with a microphone, webcam, and speakers.
