Alumnus Mike Kleist, 2003
I'm in the process of getting hired on as a contract engineer through a company in Madison called Bit 7. I am being hired as a Procurement Specialist/Materials Handler and will be working closely with the lead Production Engineer for Project Ice Cube. Project Ice Cube is an NSF funded project involving UW-Madison along with other universities around the world. Ice Cube is in the process of designing, building, and implementing a Neutrino detector at the South Pole. There are a number of UW-Platteville grads on the project, including Tim Murray and myself.
