UW-Platteville Engineering Partnerships Tuition and Financial Aid

General Education and Pre-Engineering Courses
Since many general education and pre-engineering courses are taken at institutions other than UW-Platteville, tuition and fees for those courses will be charged by that institution.

If you are enrolled in UW-Platteville courses, you will pay tuition and fees for your professional engineering courses to UW-Platteville. For more information, contact the Cashier's Office.

Financial Aid

If you are taking courses simultaneously from both another institution and UW-Platteville and qualify for financial aid, you will need to complete a consortium approval form. A new form must be completed every semester you are registered for classes at both another institution and UW-Platteville. Financial aid will be disbursed through one institution, and it is your responsibility to pay the tuition and fees charged by the other institution.

Financial Aid Consortium Process

  1. Fill out the FAFSA and release the information to UW-Platteville. The school code for UW-Platteville is 003921.
  2. Register for classes with both UW-Platteville and the other institution.
  3. Complete the consortium approval form and return it to Hattie Techlow at techlowh@uwplatt.edu. For questions about the financial aid consortium process, contact Hattie Techlow at 920.832.2854 or Mike Huser, husermi@uwplatt.edu.
  4. Once you have accepted your financial aid, contact the UW-Platteville Cashier's Office at cashieroff@uwplatt.edu or 608.342.1211 to have the check mailed to your current address.

Scholarships for those pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering are also available.

For more information about UW-Platteville's financial aid policies and procedures, contact the Financial Aid Office and ask for Mike Huser.

UW-Platteville bills for each semester approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. You can find the financial agreement form, billing schedule, a tutorial to view your bill online, and more here.

Tuition and Segregated B fees for textbook rental will be charged to your UW-Platteville PASS account. The initial payment is due by the sixth day of the semester.
