Living Learning Communities (LLC)

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville has three Living Learning Communities (LLC) for students pursing a degree in the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science(EMS). The Explore EMS LLC is available to all incoming freshman within the College of EMS. The Women in STEM LLC has two options available, one for incoming freshmen and one for sophomore and transfer students.

A Living Learning Community is a group of students that are focused on a particular area of interest and live together in an on-campus residence hall. The LLC is a stimulating living environment, where students who are interested in similar fields build strong personal and academic connections with each other and with UW-Platteville faculty and professionals. The LLCs are dedicated to providing students with a nurturing environment, support network for academics and everyday life, and an exciting college experience. This atmosphere can help with the transition to college life and provide an opportunity for members to develop meaningful friendships.
