Ways to Get Involved
UW-Platteville International Club
International Club, open to both U.S. and international students, educates and promotes global understanding through learning about different cultures, having fun, and organizing international programs, events, and activities.
Education Abroad Intern or Ambassador
If you would like to gain professional experience with the office that supported you while abroad, consider joining the team as either a marketing or professional writing intern. See the intern page for more details!
If you don’t have the time commitment of a part-time job but still want to help in the office, you can volunteer for one hour a week and be an education abroad ambassador. Check here for more details.
*If you are a recipient of the Pioneering Abroad or International Study Scholarship, these options can count toward your returnee requirements!
Throughout the academic year, the International Programs office hosts several events, such as the Education Abroad Fair, International Education Week, and International Night. As well, if you want to help international students, consider volunteering as an Orientation Ambassador for international student orientation.
Non-Platteville students are encouraged to contact their home institutions education abroad office for information on international student organizations.
