USP On-Site Staff
Kris Stice acts as the On-Site Coordinator for UW-Platteville Education Abroad’s program at the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Fiji. Kris manages all matters in-country ranging from airport pick-up to securing accommodation and from assisting with course registration to organizing activities and excursions. As students’ primary on-site contact, students studying abroad at USP through UW-Platteville Education Abroad are encouraged to contact Kris with any matters once in-country. Until then, students are encouraged to direct any inquires to the UW-Platteville Education Abroad staff.

Kris Stice is the On-Site Coordinator for UW-Platteville Education Abroad’s program at the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Suva, Fiji. Kris was born and raised in Fiji and has a solid understanding of the cultures and practices of the people of Fiji. He continued his education at the University of California at Santa Barbara earning his degree in Biology and proceeded to teach high school upper-level sciences before returning to Fiji. Having lived and experienced "the cultural crossover," he comes equipped and excited to assist students in the adventures of life in Fiji.
Kris is married to his childhood sweetheart, Lindy, also an educator. Kris and Lindy have five children: Josiah, Judah, Myah, Haleh, and Jenah. During your stay in Fiji, you will “join” a large family which includes Kris’ married siblings, Kati and Kyle, and their families! Everyone will be there to assist and to ensure as great a study abroad experience as possible.
