Dr. Jason Laker is an instructor of Intercultural Change Management in the Master of Science in Organizational Change Leadership program at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Laker has served as Vice President for Student Affairs at San José State University in California, where he now teaches graduate courses in educational counseling. He previously served as AVP & Dean of Student Affairs, Fellow in the Centre for the Study of Democracy, and on the Gender Studies Faculty at Queen’s University in Canada. He has extensive international experience, including engagements as a board member, visiting faculty, consultant or speaker, particularly in Europe. As a scholar, he has published two edited texts, one each in the U.S. and Canada, regarding gender and men’s development; and two with colleagues in Croatia and Spain relating to the role of Higher Education in preparing students to actively participate in democratic citizenship.
