Disability Services

The goal of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Distance Learning Center and the Services for Students with Disabilities Office is to create an accessible university community where students with disabilities can realize their full potential. We work with students, faculty, and staff to promote students' independence and to ensure assessment of their abilities, not disabilities.

Accommodations are determined by trained Services for Students with Disabilities staff through your documentation of a disability and an interview process. UW-Platteville provides reasonable accommodations that are individualized and based on the nature of the disability and academic environment. The purpose of academic accommodations is not to ensure success, but to provide access and equal opportunity.

If you are a current student, you must confirm that your VISA is up-to-date for the current academic school year.
