UW-Platteville signs two agreements with APICS
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville and its Distance Learning Center (www.GoUWP.com) has signed two agreements to award advanced standing for credentials earned from APICS, the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management. With over 37,000 members and more than 250 international partners, APICS is transforming the way people do business, drive growth and reach global customers.
The agreements allow students who have earned the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation to enter UW-Platteville’s Master of Science in Integrated Supply Chain Management program with an advanced standing through the waiver of BusAdmin 6100, Supply Chain Management.
“We believe professional credentials should bring new opportunities,” said Dawn Drake, executive director of UW-Platteville’s Alternative Delivery Systems. “In today’s business world, these experiences offer significant learning outcomes.”
UW-Platteville, a pioneer in distance education, provides eight degrees entirely online: master’s degrees in organizational change leadership, project management, criminal justice, engineering, distance educational leadership and integrated supply chain management along with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and criminal justice.
