University of Wisconsin-Platteville adds three new online master's degrees
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, an accredited leader in online education, has added three online master's degrees to its curriculum: organizational change leadership, distance education leadership and integrated supply chain management. UW-Platteville plans to launch all three new programs in time for students to enroll this fall.
The new graduate degrees, approved by the Board of Regents for the University of Wisconsin System on June 9, signify the growth of UW-Platteville’s online educational efforts and are in direct response to requests by students and the industries they will serve, said Wayne Weber, interim dean of UW-Platteville’s College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture.
“As is every program in our curriculum, each of these degrees is real world, application oriented, and designed to help our students hone their craft,” he said. “Our online programs enhance the abilities of students to analyze and solve problems quickly by synthesizing information, rethinking work processes, and steering organizations toward success.”
- The master’s degree in organizational change leadership positions students for roles as change managers or consultants. The program focuses on the growing demand for cross-functional experts who can lead organization-wide changes on local and global scales.
- The master’s in integrated supply chain management is a one-of-a-kind degree that combines business, engineering, industrial studies, and information technology to produce polished supply chain leaders.
- The master’s in distance education leadership is for students pursuing upper-level leadership roles in a distance education division at a college or corporation. The program is unique because of its leadership and management focus within the distance learning industry.
