PMI Global Conference 2018

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Center for Distance Learning will be showcasing its project management expertise at the PMI Global Conference 2018 October 6-8, in Los Angeles, CA. PMI Global brings together thousands of professionals for three days of learning, networking, and fun.

UW-Platteville project management faculty and globally experienced practitioner Shawn Belling, PMP, will be presenting “Ruthless Prioritization in Project Environments: Four Traps to Avoid” on Monday, October 8. Information about the university’s online Master of Science in Project Management program will be available at booth #500. Conference-goers can register to win copies of alumnus  and author John K. Briesemeister’s recently published book, “Managing Complex Construction Projects: A Systems Approach” as well as alumnus and author Christopher Cook’s “The Entrepreneurial Project Manager.” Belling and Briesemeister will make guest appearances at the booth to greet attendees.

PMI Global’s lineup of keynote speakers includes:

  • Jon Dorenbos, an inspirational storyteller able to demonstrate the power of perseverance and courage through adversity.
  • Cam Marston, a leading expert on the impact of generational change and its impact on the marketplace.
