Online Project Management Program Adds Emphasis Areas

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Online is excited to announce optional emphasis areas for the Master of Science in Project Management program. The emphasis areas available include Managing Engineering Projects, Human Capital Administration, and Integrated Supply Chain Management. These areas will enhance your master’s degree experience by providing specific content needed for today’s work environment.

The master’s in project management program enables you to achieve success at the highest levels of management by preparing you to lead complex projects, cultivate relationships between project teams and customers, and manage the “triple constraint” of time, budget, and scope of project.

UW-Platteville is globally accredited by PMI® and the curriculum in the project management program is aligned with the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), which forms the foundations necessary to obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential.

“We believe these new emphasis areas will add significant value to the MSPM degree,” said program director Bill Haskins.  “The new emphases build on the strengths of our existing graduate programs, and they address spaces where we see substantial project activity. “
