Advisor survey coming October 16

September 28, 2017

SurveyEach year, we like to ask our students about their advisors and their advising experiences—and this year is no different. In addition to a National Academic Advising Association research project, our annual survey allows us to hear from all of our students regarding their experiences with their advisor. We know that the advisor plays an instrumental role in how students can achieve their goals, and your input can help us continuously improve.

In this short, seven question survey, we want to focus on what you like and what you think can be improved upon in your relationship with your advisor. Our team is always looking for ways to improve, and your input can help us identify areas for growth or highlight approaches that are working well. This information will can help your advisor guide you toward your educational goals. As always, the survey is anonymous, but if you would like to leave your name and preferred method of contact, our Advising and Outreach Manager will be happy to reach out to you to speak with you directly about your experiences.

You will receive a link to the survey on October 16 through your email account and we are asking for all responses to be submitted by October 31. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Amy Foley, Advising and Outreach Manager, at

As with all of our surveys, this helps us ensure that we are doing our best to serve our students. We value your feedback and honesty as we continue to look at ways to improve our services and help you achieve your goals.
