Kurzweil Features

Reading Tools

Kurzweil 3000 has many reading options like dual highlighting of on-screen text.

You also have one-click access to word support, including dictionaries, synonyms, syllables, and spelling.
You can improve your reading comprehension and retention with tools such as text highlighting, annotations, Bubble Notes (that teachers can embed), voice notes, bookmarks, and extraction of outlines or word lists.

Writing Tools

As you type, you can use the check-spelling-while-typing and speak-while-typing features to quickly recognize and correct spelling mistakes. The audible spell checker and word prediction feature can help you write and edit reports, essays, and papers independently.

Kurzweil3000.com

Kurzweil3000.com is essentially a scaled-down version of Kurzweil that requires no downloading of any kind, so it is ideal when you are on the go. It gives you the ability to use many of the great features of Kurzweil 3000 from anywhere you have an internet connection.

Kurzweil3000.com can read TXT, PDF, DOC, and DOCX files.

Upon signing in to your personal account, you will have all of your files in the private folder of your Universal Library.

Simply click on any file and it will automatically load into Kurzweil. For more information on the features and how to use Kurzweil3000.com, check out the
Kurzweil overview video.

Mobile Devices

The Kurzweil 3000 app is available, and this is the recommended mobile device.

Android devices are not currently supported, as typically a flash-capable browser is not available on these devices. Kurzweil 3000 app should work on any device that is flash capable, as it is a flash-based web product. The app is free and can be downloaded through the Apple Store on your iPad.

The same username and password are used for the Kurzweil 3000 web license version.
