Instructional Materials Library

The Instructional Materials Laboratory (IML) is a curriculum library supporting the School of Education. The IML loans materials for pre-K through twelfth grade teachers and education students. The collection includes practical and applied materials including lesson plans, children’s textbooks, tests, children's and young adult literature (fiction and nonfiction), and teacher edition classroom materials. Education theory, history, and research materials are located in the Elton S. Karrmann Library.

Location

The IML is located on the first floor of the Karrmann Library.

Collections

The IML houses over 25,000 items supplying materials for student-teacher preparation classes from thirteen different collections, and maintaining continuing access for our graduates and the classes they teach as professionals.
