Become a teacher in physical education, health education, and/or adapted physical education with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance degree at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with an emphasis in physical education.

Before student teaching, you'll observe classes and practice teaching in adventure wellness days at local schools, in the on-campus Children's Center, health and physical education lessons at local schools, conferences, home school physical education programs, and more.

The comprehensive licensure includes K-12 physical education, health education, and adaptive physical education which allows you to engage with students from the Wisconsin School of the Blind and Visually Impaired. You can also teach swimming lessons to students with disabilities as well as volunteer with the Special Olympics.
