Follow the steps below to register for your UW-Platteville courses.

  1. Check the academic calendar and note the course registration deadlines.
  2. Review the balance sheet for Electrical Engineering or the balance sheet and flow chart for Mechanical Engineering.
  3. Log into PASS with your username and password to review your academic requirements report.
  4. Review course offerings for Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  5. Before registering for your classes, review the class section coding system below.

    PEP1: Platteville or UWO-Fox Cities Video of Recorded Lecture
    PL1: Platteville or UWO-Fox Cities Lab held at regional location (UW-Platteville or UWO-Fox Cities)

    FOXP: UWO-Fox Cities Face-to-Face Lecture
    FOXL: UWO-Fox Cities Face-to-Face Lab

  6. Check PASS or class list to see which courses will be offered. To view available courses, select the term (fall, spring, or summer), College (EMS), and subject. The subject should be Electrical Engineering (ELECTENG), Mechanical Engineering (MECHENG), General Engineering (GENENG), Math (MATH), or Computer Science (COMPUTER).
  7. Check out the student resources available to learn more about registration, PASS, courses, enrollment dates, and policies.
  8. Contact your academic advisor to discuss your registration plans and to receive your PIN number.
  9. In PASS, log in with your username and password.
    1. Click on the Advising Hold and enter your PIN number to register for classes.
    2. Before registering for classes, resolve any Holds issues within PASS.
    3. When searching for classes you can click on View All Sections or click on the arrow.
    4. You can also uncheck the Show Open Classes Only box to see all classes including those that are closed.
