"When I decided I wanted to be a science teacher, I was going to major in biology and only wanted to teach high school biology. When I was looking at majors at UW-Platteville, my mom suggested Broad Field Science. I realized being able to teach biology, chemistry, and general science or middle school science would be beneficial as a teacher and would make me more marketable. What I love about the Broad Field Science major is that it's given me so many different options and allowed me to explore multiple fields of interest."
