Apolonia Kust, also known as Apple, is named after her Great-Great Grandmother. She grew up on a small farm in Franklin Wisconsin. There she learned many life lessons, such as if you fall off the horse get back on and keep moving. She takes that saying to heart now as she’s grown up. That’s how she lives her whole life.
Cody Schwochert is a current junior at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville studying Criminal Justice and Psychology with the goal of working for the FBI. He is on his second year as a Resident Assistant for Melcher Hall and works closely with the freshman class. Cody is also an active member of Greek life and is a part of Sigma Pi. He spends most of his time playing intramural sports or socializing on campus.
Dan Gnadt is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. He has worked as a Resident Assistant in Hugunin Hall for two years and as a tutor for three years. He is the President of the Ultimate Club on campus, the Treasurer of Pioneer Pantry, and a Residence Life Ambassador. Outside of campus, he works in Santa Cruz, California as the Head Counselor at a summer camp.
Jane Dickler is a graduating senior studying Elementary Education with an Early Childhood minor at UW-Platteville. She spends a lot of her free time building rockets with Pioneer Rocketry and traveling. Jane is currently the Secretary and Education Captain of Pioneer Rocketry, President of the Society of Physics Students, an active member of Kappa Delta Pi and Driven Scholars. She also spends time volunteering at local schools and summer camps.
Jesse Bauer grew up in Cascade, WI, a village of seven hundred people. He has three brothers named Josh, Josh, and Jordan. He is currently a sophomore at UW-Platteville pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in sustainable and renewable energy systems. Jesse has accomplished a 3.514 GPA for his first year and made the Dean's list. His interests include walking in nature, drawing, and music.
Grant Nollette is a third year UW-P student studying ITM and Business. Grant is from Muscatine, Iowa. His parents are Jim and Jennifer Nollette-Lofgren, and he has one younger sister, McKenzie. He is a member of the UW-P Community Symphony Orchestra, the Paintball Club, and the Automotive Enthusiasts Club. Currently, Grant is an RA in Porter Hall, and he is looking into study abroad programs. Grant aspires to work in the Automotive Design Industry.
Meaghan Verstraete is a junior Civil Engineering major here at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She is involved in many things here on campus; including working as an event producer for Campus Programming and Relations, and being a member of the Dance Marathon Executive Board, as well as the Executive Board for Gamma Phi Beta. Homecoming is Meaghan’s favorite time of year because she gets to be around so many awesome people all week.
Nicole Haller is a senior Industrial Engineering major with a Business Administration minor. She is representing Melcher Hall, where she is currently an SA. The last 2-years, she was an RA of the Leadership LLC. Nicole enjoys being involved on campus; she is a member of Swing Dance Club, NSLS, Dance Marathon, SWE and Cans for a Cure. Platteville is a home away from home for her and she hopes to help others call it home too!
Sadie Kolodziej is a Senior Biology major with a Pre-Health Emphasis and a Spanish minor. During her time here in Platteville, she has been part of many clubs including InterVarsity, UWP Belly Dance Club, Outdoor Adventure Club, Sportsman’s Club, multiple honor societies, and more. After graduation, Sadie plans to attend Physician Assistant school, with the end goal of becoming an orthopedic physician assistant.
Taran Newton grew up and graduated in the small town of Boscobel, Wisconsin, where she was highly active in choir and jazz groups, theatre productions, dance team, and cheerleading. She is currently majoring in Elementary Education with minors in Theatre and English. Taran hopes to someday teach around her hometown or this area. Here, at Platteville, she is a part of the Bridgeway Commons’ E-Board and the RHA.
