Mission Statement

University Counseling Services provides time sensitive and goal-oriented mental health services through a wellness lens to the UW-Platteville student population. We facilitate emotional, academic, social, and personal development utilizing individual and group counseling.

Psychoeducational and consultative services provided to the campus community enhance awareness and understanding of emotional wellness to support student academic achievement. We acknowledge and incorporate an individual’s culturally-bound values in a therapeutic process to affirm, promote, and celebrate diversity in its broadest sense.
