in Community Engagement and Education with Sub-major in Child Care
University of Wisconsin-Platteville Office of Continuing Education students who have successfully completed the Child Care Administrator Credential are invited to explore this opportunity.
When you complete the Administrator Credential at UW-Platteville, you have earned 18 UW-Platteville credits. Those credits will transfer to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), towards the Community Engagement and Education (CEED) major with a sub-major in Child Care. This major is offered through the UWM Department of Educational Policy and Community Studies
You must contact the Center for Early Childhood Professional Development and Leadership, School of Continuing Education, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to have the credits accepted from your Administrator Credential. Please contact Shari Vinluan - Program Director, CECPDL.
You will also need to apply to UWM as a degree candidate. Once you have been admitted to the Community Engagement and Education (CEED) degree program, you are eligible to demonstrate competency and earn lower division, elective credit for Prior Professional Education Experiences (PPEE).
