Program Development Credential
If you are a teacher, family child care provider, program director, assistant director, or site supervisor, then this credential was designed for you. Learn how to create a learning community of children and adults that promotes optimal child development, healthy families, and healthy relationships in supportive environments.
To earn the Registry Program Development Credential, you must complete the following four, three-credit classes.
- Course One: Introduction to Program Development
Course Two: Observation, Assessment & Evaluation*
*This course also includes the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) training applicable for YoungStar optional Learning Environment and Curriculum points.
- Course Three: Staff Supervision, Coaching & Professional Development
- Course Four: Capstone Course - Designing Environments for Learning
