More than 45,000 college and university educators have participated in On Course professional development. Dr. Downing’s popular text, On Course: Strategies for Creating Success in College and in Life (Wadsworth/Cengage Learning), is used at more than 500 colleges and universities, impacting the lives of more than 100,000 students annually.
On Course offers two 3-credit online courses for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Office of Continuing Education.
Strategies for Empowering Students to Become Active, Responsible Learners
- (pre-requisite: On Course I Workshop) is offered in the Fall term.
Designing and Delivering Professional Development Events that Promote Student Success
- (pre-requisite: On Course II Workshop) is offered in the Spring term.
