The Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System, which includes the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, its officers, agents, employees, and students, is to be held harmless by the sponsoring group, from any and all liability including claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, and or expenses of every kind and description (including death), or damage to persons or property arising out of the use of UW-Platteville facilities and services by participants in the sponsoring group.
Your group is responsible for restitution of any damages to university property. Damages as determined by the housing or conference services office will be brought to your attention. If possible, actual repair/replacement costs will be quoted. The conference office will supply information concerning participants, location, and time of damage incidents when possible. This includes, but is not limited to, charges for removal of windows and screens, lost keys, missing linen or common area vandalism.
No employer/employee relationship shall be construed as existing between UW-Platteville and Licensee by virtue of this agreement. All employer taxes, fringe benefits, union dues, workers compensation insurance, and like items are a liability of and assumed by the organization or individual renting the facilities.
THESE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES HEREBY BECOME A PART OF THE SUMMER CONFERENCE ACCOMMODATIONS AGREEMENT.
