UW-Platteville will soon be celebrating its sesquicentennial anniversary. The Sesquicentennial Committee is collecting photos for use in a commemorative book, sesquicentennial website, and photo exhibit.

If you have photos you would like to share, you can submit them using the form below, or by mailing them to:

*Please remember to include your return address — all photos will be returned to owner.

Please identify any people or events in the photograph to the best of your ability.

By submitting a photograph, you are certifying that you are the owner of that photograph, and you are agreeing to allow that photograph to be used by the UW-Platteville Sesquicentennial Committee in the commemorative book, UW-Platteville website, or photo exhibit.

You can upload up to 10 photos using the form below. If you have more than 10 photos you would like to submit, you can submit this form multiple times.

Scanning Tips

Please send photos that are the highest resolution settings your scanner software will allow.

In your scanner settings, look for "Resolution." There should be a changeable field next to the word "PPI" or "DPI."  PPI stands for pixels per inch and DPI stands for dots per inch.

The higher the number you select, the greater the resolution. The standard is 300 PPI/DPI. However, if you want to double the size of a photo, scan it at 600 PPI/DPI. Remember, high resolution means your scanned photos will be a large file size.

Scan the image you want to use and save it to your computer.
