Surveying Lab

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Civil and Environmental Engineering program is unique in that studies are directly linked to hands-on laborartory exercises that are woven into the curriculum to enhance the classroom experience and are not viewed as standalone exercises. All labs are instructed by the course instructor or one of the other faculty that have previously taught the course. Students in the Civil Engineering degree program will take a minimum of six classes within the department that have lab componenents. These include: Fluid Mechanics Lab, Construction Materials Lab, Environmental Engineering Lab, Geotechnical Lab, Surveying Lab, and Transportaiton Lab. In addition to these, students will take a number of lab courses prior to matriculation into the department, and depending on emphasis area, additional lab courses in their senior level courses.

We are currently going through some new facility developments. More information coming soon.
