Intern at Rockwell Automation
All accounting and business majors in the School of Business must complete an internship as part of the graduation requirement. (Media studies majors should contact their program advisor for details on their internship process.)
IMPORTANT: There is now an additional REQUIREMENT for submitting the internship application narrative.
1.) Narrative APPROVAL Process
2.) Narrative SUBMISSION Process
If an employer has offered you an internship or you obtain one by May 4, you must submit the online internship application with a job description AND make a required appointment with the Writing Center by May 4. The School of Business tracks Writing Center appointments, and the Writing Center closes May 16.
All accounting and business majors must attend one internship information meeting prior to beginning an internship. The next internship information meeting will be held October 2018.
NOTE: If you have not been enrolled for one or more semesters, you will need to apply for re-admission.

An accounting or business internship in the School of Business allows students to supplement their formal education with practical experience. It focuses not only on performing well on the job for an employer, but also on creating an optimal learning experience.
