Intern at Rockwell Automation
All accounting and business majors in the School of Business must complete an internship as part of the graduation requirement. (Media studies majors should contact their program advisor for details on their internship process.)
IMPORTANT: There is now an additional REQUIREMENT for submitting the internship application narrative.
1.) Narrative APPROVAL Process
2.) Narrative SUBMISSION Process
NOTE: After the Writing Center closes May 16, you must contact the Writing Center Coordinator, Kathryn Weller, at: for assistance with your narrative.  Contact is required and tracked. If possible, send Kathryn a draft of your internship narrative after carefully reviewing "Hints for First-Time Narrative Approval," and then prepared according to the "Application Narrative Rubric" (links found under the blue bar at the upper right of this screen.)
The last day to submit a summer 2018 internship application and required narrative is June 11, 2018.
All accounting and business majors must attend one internship information meeting prior to beginning an internship. The next internship information meeting will be held October 2018.
NOTE: If you have not been enrolled for one or more semesters, you will need to apply for re-admission.

An accounting or business internship in the School of Business allows students to supplement their formal education with practical experience. It focuses not only on performing well on the job for an employer, but also on creating an optimal learning experience.
