The Budget Office's mission is to assist executive management and the university community in attaining their missions by providing timely, accurate, and relevant budget information. The Budget Office is responsible for developing the annual operating and capital budgets in conjunction with the university's executive leadership, University Academic Budget Commission, and the staff of UW System Budget and Planning. The Budget Office ensures that there is reasonable control over expenditures and timely processing of budget documents.
