Transfer Information

Degree completion and transfer efficiency are highly valued at UW-Platteville. We take pride in our ability to move students toward graduation as quickly, effectively, and efficiently as possible. With that in mind, the College of BILSA has sought out numerous agreements to shorten your time to degree completion.

In some cases, you may wish to bring your courses, credits or earned degree from a different institution and apply it toward completing your UW-Platteville degree. These inbound transfers most often reduce or eliminate your general education requirements at UW-Platteville but there are some opportunities to transfer in major coursework as well. A full list of courses and programs that have been evaluated for acceptance at UW-Platteville is found on our Transfer Students page.

In other cases, you may wish to use post-baccalaureate coursework to complete the fourth year of your UW-Platteville bachelor’s degree. The College of BILSA has several of these programs, all of which are listed below. Learn more about each program by emailing the Biology Department at biology@uwplatt.edu.
