“Wadjda,” the first feature-length film made by a female Saudi director, tells the story of an eleven-year old Saudi girl who is determined to buy herself a bicycle in a culture in which bikes are seen as only for boys.

Dr. Staci Strobl, chair of the Department of Criminal Justice at UW-Platteville, will provide the introduction and lead the discussion.
