1. How can I import a class list into Excel
from D2L?
a. Log on to D2L.
(1.) Go to the respective course home page.
(2.) Click on Grades link (typically located in left page header).
(3.) Click on the Import/Export icon at the top of the page.
(4.) Select the Export option and make the desired export settings
(5.) Click the “Export to CSV file” button (located in the right bottom of page)
b. Open Excel
(1.) From main menu, pick File > Open
(2.) At bottom of Open dialog box, select “Text Files (*.prn; *.txt; *.csv)
(3.) Go to the folder where you saved the CSV file above and select it.
2. What is the purpose of the “Regular
Expression” check box when setting up Short Answer and Fill-in-the-Blank items
in the D2L Quizzes?

1. How can I import a class list into Excel from PeopleSoft? There may be a way, but I don’t know what it is. I would appreciate hearing about it if you know. Until then, you can use D2L to do it.
2. How can I send email to one or more of my advisees? There is no way to do this in PeopleSoft. Previous versions had this feature, but for some unknown reason it has been eliminated.
