Grading Information

The grades in class will be based on four in-class exams (100 points each), the final (150 points), a group project (100 points), and homework (100 points), for a total of 750 points. The grade scale will generally be: 675-750 points (90-100%), A; 600-674 points (80-89%), B; 525-599 points (70-79%), C; 450-524 points (60-69%), D; and below 450 (below 60%), F.

NOTE:  Homework is due Mondays.  Late homework is not accepted and there are NO MAKE-UPS on homework.  Homework problems with an answer but no work shown will not be graded.  I encourage working together, however each student must submit his own write-up for all problems. Selected problems will be graded for a total of 10 points per homework set, with a maximum of 100 points counted in the total.
